BASANT FESTIVAL

When we think of Spring what are the things that come to our mind.Well,lots and lots of colours,beautiful flowers,butterflies and everything joyous and ofcouse BASANT.Yes one of the most celebrated festival especially in Lahore.Different color kites are in the sky giving a beautiful view.U see everyone on the roof tops and on streets flying kites.All this makes this season more and more joyous.
But to all this beautiful side of this whole event there is a darker side too that is all those accidents that take place during this time.So many people fall off their roofs during flying kite,accidents of children while flying kites on the roads.Well these are a few things that can happen anytime of the year but we need to be more careful.But the most painful thing about all this is when the kiteflyers use those razor sharp cords which are covered in powdered glass that even if u touch the cord u might hurt yourself.So many incidents are that people getting strangled in the kites cords and due to the make of the cord they just die at the spot.People in their own happiness forget about the affect of using these kind of things.I wonder where does all their humanity go!!
Though the government does take step against using of such things but people who use it do get it from somewhere.I dont understand why these people don't understand the consequences of using such things.Its not like these accidents that take place after using these cruel ways are not apparent,hundreds of people getting admitted in the hospitals facing all the pain and misery due to some other peoples carelessness and selfishness.These people need to wake up and realize that their actions are a source for other people's pain and misery.
